La Marseillaise
ลามาร์แซแยซ (ฝรั่งเศส: La Marseillaise, "เพลงแห่งเมืองมาร์แซย์") เป็นชื่อของเพลงชาติสาธารณรัฐฝรั่งเศสที่ใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบัน ประพันธ์คำร้องและทำนองโดย โกลด โฌแซ็ฟ รูเฌ เดอ ลีล เมื่อวันที่ 25 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2335 ที่เมืองสทราซบูร์ในแคว้นอาลซัส เดิมเพลงนี้มีชื่อว่า "Chant de guerre de l'Armée du Rhin" (แปลว่า "เพลงมาร์ชกองทัพลุ่มน้ำไรน์") เดอลีลได้อุทิศเพลงนี้ให้แก่นายทหารชาวแคว้นบาวาเรีย (อยู่ในประเทศเยอรมนีในปัจจุบัน) ซึ่งเกิดในประเทศฝรั่งเศสผู้หนึ่ง คือจอมพลนีกอลา ลุคเนอร์ (Nicolas Luckner) เมื่อกองทหารจากเมืองมาร์แซย์ได้ขับร้องเพลงนี้ขณะเดินแถวทหารเข้ามายังกรุงปารีส ทำให้เพลงนี้เป็นที่รู้จักโดยทั่วไป และกลายเป็นเพลงปลุกใจในการร่วมปฏิวัติฝรั่งเศส ทั้งยังเป็นที่มาของชื่อเพลงลามาร์แซแยซดังปรากฏอยู่ในปัจจุบันด้วย
สมัชชาแห่งชาติฝรั่งเศสได้ออกประกาศรับรองให้เพลงลามาร์แซแยซเป็นเพลงชาติฝรั่งเศสเมื่อวันที่ 14 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2338 ต่อมาเพลงนี้ได้ถูกงดใช้ในช่วงรัชสมัยของจักรพรรดินโปเลียนที่ 1แห่งจักรวรรดิฝรั่งเศสที่ 1 และ พระเจ้าหลุยส์ที่ 18 และมีการนำเพลงอื่นมาใช้เป็นเพลงชาติฝรั่งเศสแทนในระยะเวลาดังกล่าวแทน โดยรัชสมัยของจักรพรรดินโปเลียนที่ 1 ใช้เพลงชาติที่ชื่อว่า Veillons au Salut de l'Empire และ โดยรัชสมัยของพระเจ้าหลุยส์ที่ 18 ใช้เพลงชาติที่ชื่อว่า Le Retour des Princes Français à Paris หลังการปฏิวัติในปี พ.ศ. 2373 เพลงนี้ก็ได้กลับมาใช้เป็นเพลงชาติในระยะสั้น ๆ แต่ก็งดใช้อีกครั้งในสมัยของจักรพรรดินโปเลียนที่ 3 ตราบจนกระทั่งฝรั่งเศสเข้าสู่สมัยสาธารณรัฐที่ 3 เพลงนี้จึงได้รับการรับรองให้เป็นเพลงชาติอย่างถาวรเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2422
